Check Out Procedure:

Because Toysandtoons.com has a unique inventory consisting of oddly sized items in limited quantities, we have opted to not use a traditional shipping calculator and checkout system where the customer makes a payment at the time of checkout. Instead, we process each and every order that is placed with us by hand, ensuring that the best shipping method will be used for that order's size, weight, value, and destination. Due to this highly individualized service, we ask that all orders be placed in our system using our shopping cart checkout. You may contact us with any questions prior to placing your order.

Once we know what items your order will consist of, the Toysandtoons.com staff will be able to determine the best way to ship your order given the size, weight, value, and destination of the items. You will be contacted by one of our staff members, who will help you with shipping information to complete your order. You will then be able to make a payment using one of the methods listed on this page. Once we have received your payment, we will be able to ship your order.

Payment & Shipping policies, pricing, and options:

Payment Policies:

Toysandtoons.com asks that all orders be completed within seven calendar days of recieving your shipping quote. Orders will remain in our system for that period of time. If payment is not received within this time, your order may be cancelled, returning the items from your order to our catalog. Please make a timely payment and keep us up to date if anything changes which will affect any arrangements you have made with us.

Please understand that our website is very different from the majority of retail based websites you have experienced on the internet. Our business is based on individual service and an extemely limited quantity per item inventory. Once an order is in our system, the merchandise is removed from our catalog which keeps a real time inventory. If a customer places an order, but does not follow through with a payment, our catalog is not as full as it should appear to our other customers.

We ask that our customers please make every effort to make timely payments and keep the Toysandtoons.com staff up to date on any news that would affect your orders. Please see our conditions of use page for more information.

Shipping Pricing:

While Toysandtoons.com offers a wide array of merchandise making it difficult to describe a “typical order”, you can expect that we will attempt to give the buyer the best price available between UPS and United States Postal Service options. Shipping begins at $6.95 per United States order.

We use many services including USPS Priority mail and UPS ground delivery. We are always willing to give you options to speed the delivery of orders needed in an immediate time context, or to look into cheaper options for unusually large or heavy orders. We do not, however, offer cheaper shipping options for smaller orders. Please do not expect Toysandtoons.com to ship merchandise with sub-standard shipping methods such as “media mail”, “third class”, or “surface” (for international orders).

It is Toysandtoons.com's policy to always offer our customers a fair shipping quote based on all factors involved with processing your order. We believe it is good business to treat our customers fairly. We would like you to come back and order with us again in the future so we will make every effort to ensure each of your orders meets your expectations.

Payment Methods Accepted:

We can accept payments through a variety of methods available to both United States residents and the rest of the world. Please note we do use our judgement of each order to protect ourselves with regard to what forms of payment we will accept based on order size, total value, and destination.

1. Paypal is available as a payment option. This is the fastest way to make an online payment to Toysandtoons.com. We hold a verified business account with over 1000 transactions successfully processed. Our email address to be used for paypal transaction is paypal@toysandtoons.com. This is only a payment address. Please see our complete contact page for more information.

2. Personal Check payments are often easy for customers on a busy shedule who do not use the paypal service. Please note, all check payments must clear before any order will be shipped. This process can typically take 7 to 14 days depending on bank policies, the amount, and origin. Returned checks will be suject to a $30 returned check fee. We offer to take personal checks for the convience of our customers, but we feel it would be easier for you to use other payment methods. Please note, we are only able to accept checks from our United States based customers.

3. Money Order payments are an easy way to send money to Toysandtoons.com when mailing a payment. Because money orders are easily cashed in the United States, usually with short waiting periods for funds to clear, this option is usually perferable to our buyers over using personal checks.

4. American Cash payments are also acceptable. You are taking a risk when sending cash through the mail, but many buyers have found this to be an easy way to handle making payments. Please be sure to send cash via registered letter, or some other form of shipment that is trackable and requires a signature to receive. If you choose this method of making a payment, you assume all risk for loss of funds in transit. Please be aware, we only accept cash in the form of American United States dollars. Please make any conversions in your country and only send American money, even if you are not located within the United States.

5. Western Union payments can be made to make cash immediately availible to Toysandtoons.com without the risk of sending it through the mail. Due to the money sender fees associated with Western Union, we offer this service primarily to aid international buyers in making payments in a timely manor, but we will gladly accept payments from United States buyers as well should they choose to use this service.

Please remember that Toysandtoons.com is an online only business. The following address is an office address and is to be used only for mailing payment or correspendence. If you physically arrive at this address looking to shop, you will be disappointed to realize we do not have a store and that our inventory is warehoused at a different location.
